On May 3, 2000, Katherine "Kate" Pyrch of Calmar, passed away at the age of 93 years.
Kate is survived by one son, Orest (Donna) of Langley, B.C.; three daughters, Natalie (Eddie) Jensen of Claresholm, Donna (Edward) Fandrick of Leduc, Lynda (Denny) Anderson of Spruce Grove; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Evelyn Fee of Edmonton and also by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel in 1986; one son, Dennis; great-granddaughter, Amy in 1999, four brothers Peter (Millie), Fred (Ethel), John (Nellie), Bill (Martha) and two sisters, Anne (Tony) and Mary (Max) and brother-in-law, Bill Fee.
Relatives and friends wishing to pay their respects may do so on Friday, May 5, 2000, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Hainstock's Funeral Home, Edmonton (9810 - 34 Avenue) and one hour prior to the funeral service. Funeral Service will be hold on Saturday, May 6, 2000, at 2:00 p.m. at Hainstock's Funeral Home, Edmonton with pastor Larry Froese officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Edmonton.

WORKUN, Bonnie Lynne On July 14, 2002 Bonnie Lynne Workun of Calmar, passed away at the age of 59 years. Bonnie is survived by her loving husband, Alvin; son, Randy (Lori) of Calmar; two grandchildren, Christopher and Kristin; two sisters, Linda Teskey of Devon and her two children, Matthew and Amber; and Kathleen Orr of Toronto, Ontario. She was predeceased by one son, Kevin; her parents, Thomas and Irene Couser and her parents-in-law, William and Martha Workun. Relatives and friends wishing to pay their respects may do so on Thursday, July 18, 2002 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Hainstock & Son Funeral Chapel, Leduc. Funeral Services will be held on Friday July 19, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church (1 KM south of Leduc on Highway #2A) with Reverend Douglas Schultz officiating. Interment will follow in the Leduc Cemetery. WORKUN, Eugene Roy On February 26, 2010 Eugene Roy Workun of Calmar, Alberta passed away at the age of 72 years. Eugene is survived by one daughter Jennifer Workun of Calmar; one son Bradley (Joni) Jacobsen of Ladysmith, B.C; two grandchildren Olivia and Logan; one brother Alvin Workun; and one nephew Randy (Lori) Workun and family, both of Calmar. He was predeceased by his parents William and Martha Workun. Cremation has taken place. A private gathering for family and relatives will be held on Friday, March 5, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Hainstock & Son Funeral Chapel, Leduc.
