On May 3, 2000, Katherine "Kate" Pyrch of Calmar, passed away at the age of 93 years.
Kate is survived by one son, Orest (Donna) of Langley, B.C.; three daughters, Natalie (Eddie) Jensen of Claresholm, Donna (Edward) Fandrick of Leduc, Lynda (Denny) Anderson of Spruce Grove; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Evelyn Fee of Edmonton and also by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel in 1986; one son, Dennis; great-granddaughter, Amy in 1999, four brothers Peter (Millie), Fred (Ethel), John (Nellie), Bill (Martha) and two sisters, Anne (Tony) and Mary (Max) and brother-in-law, Bill Fee.
Relatives and friends wishing to pay their respects may do so on Friday, May 5, 2000, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Hainstock's Funeral Home, Edmonton (9810 - 34 Avenue) and one hour prior to the funeral service. Funeral Service will be hold on Saturday, May 6, 2000, at 2:00 p.m. at Hainstock's Funeral Home, Edmonton with pastor Larry Froese officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Edmonton.

She is lovingly remembered by her three daughters, Elaine Hall, Donna Dow and Linda Fee; three grandchildren, David (Carolyn) Dow, Sheila (David) Korol and Sarah (Corey) Peters and seven great-grandchildren. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers at Laurier House for their loving care. A Celebration in Honour of Evelyn's Life will be held on Thursday, October 30 at 2:00 p.m. at Laurier Heights Baptist Church, 8505 - 142 Street. Cremation has taken place.
