On April 6th, 1986, Mr. Samuel Pyrch of Calmar passed away at the age of 79 years. Survived by his loving wife, Katherine; three daughters and one son, Natalie and her husband Eddie Jensen of Claresholm, Orest and his wife Donna of Langley, B.C., Donna and her husband Ed Fandrick of Leduc, Lynda and her husband Denny Anderson of Grande Prairie; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister, Steven and Senia of Poland. Predeceased by one son, Dennis in 1943; two brothers and two sisters.
Prayers Wednesday, April 9th at 6:30 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709-111 Avenue. Funeral service Thursday, April 10 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, 10951 - 107 Street. Very Reverend V. Lakusta will officiate with interment to follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

On May 3, 2000, Katherine "Kate" Pyrch of Calmar, passed away at the age of 93 years.
Kate is survived by one son, Orest (Donna) of Langley, B.C.; three daughters, Natalie (Eddie) Jensen of Claresholm, Donna (Edward) Fandrick of Leduc, Lynda (Denny) Anderson of Spruce Grove; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Evelyn Fee of Edmonton and also by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel in 1986; one son, Dennis; great-granddaughter, Amy in 1999, four brothers Peter (Millie), Fred (Ethel), John (Nellie), Bill (Martha) and two sisters, Anne (Tony) and Mary (Max) and brother-in-law, Bill Fee.
Relatives and friends wishing to pay their respects may do so on Friday, May 5, 2000, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Hainstock's Funeral Home, Edmonton (9810 - 34 Avenue) and one hour prior to the funeral service. Funeral Service will be hold on Saturday, May 6, 2000, at 2:00 p.m. at Hainstock's Funeral Home, Edmonton with pastor Larry Froese officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Edmonton.

This most gracious and kind woman leaves to grieve her husband Edward of 48 years, son Eldon (Lana) and grandchildren Ian, Jocelyn, and Jayden, son Donald, sister Natalie (Eddie) Jensen of Claresholm, brother Orest (Donna) Pyrch of Langley BC, sister Lynda (Denny) Anderson of Spruce Grove and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Donna was predeceased by her son David in 2002 and parents Katherine and Samuel Pyrch of Calmar.
