It is with deep sadness that the family announce the passing of Katherine Hannas on Tuesday, May 22, 2012.
Kathy will always be remembered by her loving family, her husband Landon Oldenburg; brother Christopher; sister Deanna (Jay) along with their children Steven and Anna; father-in-law and mother-in-law Wade and Donna; brother-in-law Andrew; along with numerous aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. Kathy was predeceased by her parents Todd and Maryann Hannas.
A Divine Liturgy will be held on Monday, May 28, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Basil's Ukrainian Catholic Church (7007 - 109 Street) in Edmonton, Alberta with the Basilian Fathers officiating. Interment to follow in the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Cemetery - Leduc. Memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Society of Alberta/NWT (1301 - 8 Street S.W., Suite 300, Calgary, AB T2R 1B7).

We are saddened to announce the peaceful passing of our generous, compassionate mother and grandmother Millie Hannas at the Leduc Hospital with her loving family by her side.
Millie was a devout member of Holy Trinity Parish and a loyal Maple Leafs fan.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children Marge Lalonde, John Hannas (Sandy Sookernany), Maryanne (Edward) Murphy, Bill Hannas (Doris), Lucille (Cliff) Schmidt, Mike (Leslee) Hannas, 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, numerous sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
Millie was predeceased by her parents Anton and Catherine Senio, husband Fred, son Todd and wife MaryAnn Hannas, granddaughter Kathy, as well as 7 siblings.
Prayer Service will be held at St. Michael Catholic Parish, 5105 – 45A Street, Leduc on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at 7:00 p.m.
Divine Liturgy will take place at St. Basil the Great Ukrainian Catholic Parish, 7007 – 109 Street, Edmonton on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Gregory Faryna officiating.
Viewing will be held one hour prior to Prayer Service.
Interment will take place at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Leduc.
The family would like to thank Dr. Holden and the staff on Unit 22 at the Leduc Hospital for the compassionate care of Millie; as well as a thank you to the staff and residents at Planeview for their loving care and friendship.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Leduc Cemetery Fund or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta.
