Survived by his loving wife, Doris; one son, Robert and one daughter, Mrs. Stan (Gina) Rose of Calmar; four grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters, Peter, Stephen, Allan [sic] and Mrs. William (Anne) Hamula, all of Calmar; Mrs. Alex (Elizabeth) Ambrock of Edmonton. Predeceased by one son, Richard in 1974; one brother, Leo and one sister, Emily. Prayers Sunday, July 29, at 8:00 p.m. at St. Basil's Ukrainian Catholic Church (7007 109 Street).
Requiem Mass Monday, July 30, at 10:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Catholic Church at Calmar. Reverend O. Slobodian officiating with interment in the church cemetery.

MR. GEORGE MANCHAK
ON June 25th, Mr. George Manchak, of Leduc, Alberta, passed away at the age of 53 years. He leaves to mourn his loss besides his loving wife, 5 sons and 3 daughters; Peter, Steve, Leo, Allan [sic], all at home; Mike on active service; Mrs. Edward Podgurny, of Calmar; Mrs. Willie Hamula, of Leduc; Miss Isobel at home; also 2 brothers and 2 sisters, Bill and Fred of Calmar, Mrs. Andrew Workun of Calmar and Mrs. Mary Tkach of Edmonton; also 3 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 28th, at 9:30 a.m. from the family residence to the church of the Immaculate Conception. Rev. Slota, O.S.B.M., will officiate and interment will take place in the local church cemetery. Park Memorial, funeral directors.

Hamula -- Rodney Micheal John Hamula. Rodney was born in Edmonton on February 5, 1944 and died peacefully with his loving family by his side in the Drumheller hospital on February 9, 2002. He is survived by his wife Norma, children ; sons, Bryan (Sally) and Mike (Donette) and daughters; Kathy and Marcia (Dave) McDougald, grandchildren; Andrew Fleck, Jerad Sinclair, Robyn and Alex McDougald, sister Barbara (Murray) Abel, brothers Raymond (Bev) and Reggie (Hella) and Parents Willie and Anne Hamula, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Rodney was a master electrician and has worked as an electrician for numerous companies around Alberta, BC and NWT. He was transferred to Drumheller in July 1981 working as an area manager for an electrical firm. Then in 1983 decided to start his own oilfield electrical business. The business became incorporated March 3, 1983. Rod's wife Norma and son Michael have helped him to have a very prosperous business with numerous clientele. Rodney was quite spontaneous - 5 -- 00 a.m. waking everybody up to say we are going to Banff for a swim. Rodney enjoyed traveling especially to Costa Rica, where he made a lot of very special friends. Rodney's grandchildren were the light of his life. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 15, 2002 at 1 -- 30 p.m. at the St. Anthony's Church. Prayer Service will be held Thursday, February 14th, 2002 at 7 -- 00 p.m. at St. Anthony's Church.
