    1. [S1303] Obituary of Lynn SEIDEL, (Name: Northern View; Location: Prince Rupert, Britiish Columbia, Canada; Date: Abt. 22 Nov 2023;).
      Lynn Seidel

      April 16, 1966 - November 20, 2023

      In loving memory

Lynn was born in Prince Rupert, BC on April 16, 1966, to proud parents Donald and Alberta and the first sibling of older sister Karen. She was soon followed by younger siblings Steve, Lisa, and Mark.

Lynn grew up in Prince Rupert and graduated from Prince Rupert Secondary School in 1984, moving away in the fall to Vancouver Island to attend the University of Victoria. She graduated with her bachelor's degree in Marine Biology in 1989.

She worked most of her successful career in the food industry as a quality control manager for various Food Import companies or Fish plants around British Columbia and travelled extensively to Asia to inspect food processing plants.

Lynn's favourite things to do in life were to quilt, do photography, go for walks around the Stanley Park Seawall and spoil her many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews tremendously whom she had a very special relationship with all of them.

Lynn was originally diagnosed with cancer in 2019 and was successfully treated at that time but sadly, in April this year, it returned. She passed away on Monday, November 20th, 2023, surrounded by her loving family at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver.

She is survived by her parents Donald & Alberta Seidel, sister Karen (Dan) Egan, brother Steve (Shannon) Seidel, sister Lisa (Aruna) Inversin and brother Mark (Sandra) Seidel, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews that she loved dearly.

The entire Seidel family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the doctors and nurses in Palliative Care at St. Paul's Hospital for the wonderful compassion they showed Lynn.

She will be missed tremendously by all of her family and friends!
