Miner Kills Himself; Long Illness Blamed
Funeral services for Martin Lee Angus, 65-year-old coal miner, who was found dead at his home on Slaughter's creek Monday afternoon with a bullet wound in his head, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Burial will be in the Dunn's cemetery, between London and Montgomery.
Coroner James E. Roberts returned a verdict of suicide. He said that Angus had been ill for several months.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. William Angus, of Cheylan; three daughters, Mrs. Nina Barnhouse, of Elkridge, Mrs. John Martin, of Cheylan, and Mrs. Ellis Holters, of Cincinnati; two sons, Robert Angus, of Cincinnati, and Lawrence Angus, of Cheylan; and seven grand-children.
