MERTA, George Frank 1913 - 2004 On Saturday, February 21st, 2004, Mr. George Merta of Viking Alberta passed away at the age of 90 years. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his family; Iona (Elis) Bidell, Larry (Ev) Merta, Ruth (Joe) Wallner; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; brother Ernest (Beth) Merta; as well as several nieces and nephews and many friends. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 27, 2004 in the Viking Alliance Church at 2:00 p.m. If desired, donations may be made to the Gideons or Viking Extendicare Palliative care.
