Our fearless and fun eldest sister has passed away. We are trying to reach her longtime friends, many of whom are your older siblings. If so, please let them know.
Catherine Anne "Cathy" Evans, 66, passed away on February 7, 2025, in Omaha, Nebraska.
Born on August 8, 1958, in Omaha, Cathy was a graduate of Bellevue Senior High School, class of 1976. She is survived by her husband Jim; daughters Jennifer (Dane) Austin and Carrie (Bradley) Demaio; grandchildren; mother Mary Lynn Keenan Tesar; siblings Sharon Tesar, Debra Tesar (Sven) Grahn, and John (Catherine) Tesar, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her father, John J Tesar Jr.
A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held on February 22, 2025, noon - 4pm at Castle Barrett, Leavenworth St., Omaha, Nebraska, 68105.
Cathy's warmth and humor will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
