On Friday, April 21, Mr. Fred Fedor of Calmar, Alberta, passed away in the city at the age of 59 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Katie Fedor of Calmar, 5 sons and 5 daughters, Pete of Edmonton, Alex, Waldemir, Dennie, Eugene, all at home, Mrs. Steffie Doblanko of Calmar, Mrs. Elsie Cissil of Calmar, Eleanor, Lissian, Maxine, all at home, also 2 grandchildren, 2 brothers and 1 sister, Andrew of Edmonton, Metro of Poland, Mrs. Nancy Olesky of Poland. A prayer service will be held on Monday, April 24, at 8:00 p.m. at the family residence. Funeral services will be hold on Tuesday, April 25, at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Trinity (Leduc). Rev. Fr. D. Dzigolyk, OSBM, will officiate and interment will be made in the church cemetery.

Frank Tomaszewski of Leduc, formerly of Sunnybrook, passed away at the age 87 years.
Frank is survived by Elsie, his loving wife of 55 years; daughters: Loretta (Doug) Sontag and Rita (Brian) Johnson; grandchildren: Greg, Janette, Erin and Ryan. He was predeceased by his daughter Tammy; parents: Sebastian and Mary Tomaszewski; brothers: Joseph, John, Peter, Andrew, Michael and Stanley; sisters: Katie Fedor, Anna Mendys, Nellie Konwicki, Sophie, Emily and Frances Tomaszewski.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, January 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady Of Victory Roman Catholic Church, Thorsby, Alberta with Reverend James Banu Bodula Celebrant. Cremation has taken place.

On February 6, 2014, Maxine Marie Fedor passed away at the age of 81 years.
Maxine will be remembered by her husband of 57 years, Alex; children, Delorne (Bonnie), Derrell (Linda), Della, Darran (Crissi) and Darcy (Yvonne); eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her brother Larry (Olga) Stepanko. She was predeceased by her parents, Alex and Annie Stepanko and her in-laws Fred and Katie Fedor.
The family would like to thank Dr. K. Sivalingam and staff at the Devon Hospital for the compassionate care given to Maxine.
A public visitation will be held on Monday February 10, 2014 from 5:00 -9:00 p.m at Hainstock and Son Funeral Directors 4802 - 47 Avenue Leduc.
Celebration of Maxine's Life will be held on Wednesday February 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Calmar Legion.

It is with great sadness that the family of Darran Richard Fedor announce his passing on Friday, November 4, 2016.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 17 years, Crissi and sons Skyler (Courtney), Brady and Karson. Darran will also be forever remembered by his father Alex; siblings, DeLorne, Derrell (Linda), Darcy (Terri), and Della; as well as his mother and father-in-law, Gary and Inger Moger; and brother-in-law, Trevor. Darran also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and friends.
Darran was predeceased by his mother, Maxine; grandparents, Alex and Ann Stepanko and Fred and Katie Fedor.
A Celebration of Darran's Life will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Devon Community Centre, 20 Haven Avenue, Devon at 11:00 a.m.
A luncheon will be served following the celebration.
Crissi and the boys would welcome those in attendance to wear either an Oilers, Blue Jays, DMHA or other team jerseys.
Memorial Donations in memory of Darran can be made to the Canadian Cancer Foundation.

On October 21, 2014, Steffie Doblanko passed away at the age of 89 years. She is survived by her husband of 65 years Mike; children Allan (Isabelle), Ken, Eugene (Darlene) and Carol Logan; grandchildren Michelle, Erin, Charles, Adam, Janet, Daniel and Karen, and siblings Pete, Elsie (Paul) Cissell, Alex, Eleanor Shewchuk, Lillian Hook, Wally (Marge), Maxine (Harry) Pichonski, Dennis (Vera) and Eugene (Georgie). Steffie was predeceased by her parents Katie and Fred, son Stanley, son- in-law Michael and in-laws Jean, Maxine, Mike and Ralph.
Steffie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister who brought joy to all who knew her. She put her family first, served her church for more than 50 years, enjoyed her beautiful gardens and flowers, and always welcomed visitors to their family farm. She will be deeply missed, but the life lessons she taught will remain with us forever.
Prayers Sunday, October 26 at 7:00 p.m. at Hainstock Funeral Home, 9810 – 34 Avenue Edmonton. Funeral Rite Monday, October 27 at 10:30 a.m. at St Mary's Russian Orthodox Church, Hwy 19, 3 miles west of Nisku with Reverend Igor Kisil officiating.
The family wishes to thank the nurses, doctors and staff of the Leduc Community hospital for their care, support and compassion.

I am certain that the birth years listed for Katie, Annie and Sophie have to be off by one year on the census form. Subtracting one year from what is on the census supports their listed ages and accurately matches up to existing family records.

Elsie passed away on December 27, 2014 at the age of 86 years.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years Paul; daughter Diane (Norman) Osatuik; siblings Pete, Alex, Eleanor Shewchuk, Lillian Hook, Wally (Marge), Maxine (Harry) Pichonski, Dennis (Vera) and Eugene (Georgia).
Elsie was predeceased by her parents Kate and Fred, sister Steffie Doblanko, in-laws Jean, Maxine, Mike and Ralph.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Michael’s Catholic Church on January 2, 2014 [sic]. Interment took place at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery in Edmonton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Michael’s Parish, Planning for Tomorrow.
