SIKORA, Rose With sadness we announce the passing of Rose Sikora of Edmonton, daughter of the late John and Eva Sikora, on November 30, 2005 in her 92nd year. Rose is survived by her loving family, sister-in-law Jessie Sikora of Leduc and many nieces, nephews and friends. Rose was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Steve, John, Pete, Nicolas, Bill and Mike; and sisters, Mary Pinkoski, Annie Derkoch and Katie Wakaruk. Prayer Service will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. at St. Basil's Ukrainian Catholic Parish, 7007 - 109 Street, Edmonton. Divine Liturgy will be on Monday, December 5, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Basil's Ukrainian Catholic Parish, with the Basilian Fathers, OSBM, Celebrants. Interment to follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Leduc. Donations in memory of Rose may be directed to the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery Fund. ON August 19, 1947, Mr. John Sikora of Calmar, Alberta passed away at the age of 86 years. He is survived by five sons, and four daughters, Steve of Mercoal, John and Pete of Calmar, Nick of Yellowknife, Bill of Tofield, Mrs. Mary Pinkowski [sic] of Calmar, Mrs. Ann Dercoch [sic] of Edmonton, Kate of Brittania Beach, B.C., Rose of Edmonton; also 17 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 23 at 9 a.m. from the family residence to Holy Trinity Greek Catholic church Leduc. Prayer service will be held Friday, August 22, at 8 p.m. at the family residence. Rev. Father Chimev will officiate and interment will take place in the local church cemetery. It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Eugene Archie Derkoch, on December 31 at the age of 77. He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, James, Kelly, and Daniel; brothers, Alex, Morse, and Allen.
He was predeceased by his parents, Steve and Anne Derkoch; and siblings, Anne and Lorne.
A Funeral Service will take place at Hainstocks Funeral Home, 9810 34 Ave, on January 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu flowers donations may be made in Eugene’s name to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.

Mr. Alec Derkoch, late of Barrhead, AB, formerly of Sunnybrook, AB passed away on April 4, 2016 at the age of 82 years. He is survived by his loving family; wife, Winnie May Derkoch of 59 years; 5 children, David (Brenda) Derkoch, Floyd Derkoch, Glenn (Shauna) Derkoch, Wayne (Tanya) Derkoch and Linda (Brian) Jones; 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; 4 brothers and 1 sister; as well as numerous other family and many friends.
Alec is predeceased by his father, Steven Roy Derkoch; mother, Anne Derkoch (nee Sekora); sister, Patsy Derkoch; brothers, Lorne Derkoch and Eugene Derkoch.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Barrhead Seniors Drop In Centre (South Room) 5437 49 Street, Barrhead, AB.
