BARA, Michael F.
On December 30, 1981, Mr. Michael F. Bara, Leduc, Alberta, passed away aged 89 years.
He leaves to mourn, his wife, Kate; two daughters and six sons, Mrs. Victo (Leona) Checknita, Edmonton; Mrs. Andrew (Clara) Senio, Calmar; Marvin, Kenneth and Norman, Edmonton; Reginald and Eldon, Leduc; Bernard, Brooks, Alberta; 30 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Manchak and Mrs. Victoria Krysa, Edmonton. Mr. Bara was predeceased by his first wife, Anne in 1953; sons, Edward in 1928 and Edwin in 1980 as well as two sisters, Mrs. Kate (Manchak) Halwa and Mrs. Anne Spilak and three brothers, Luke, John and Albert.
Prayers, Sunday, January 3, 1982, in the Wild Rose Chapel of Connelly-McKinley Ltd., 10011 114 Street, at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Monday, January 4, 1982, at Holy Trinity Church, Nisku, at 10:00 a.m. Reverend Thaddeus Rataj will officiate with interment in the Church Cemetery.

Communicated via Janice RUHL... Baby Edward passed away when he was 2 or 3 months old. According to Mom he got pneumonia. She was only a couple of years old at the time, so she doesn't remember him at all. She is pretty sure that it is his grave that is designated "Baby Bara". She said that there was also a stillborn baby between Kenneth and Norman and that baby is buried in the cemetery also but that the grave is unmarked.

In August of 1924, Mike married Anne Lis... The couple had 9 children.
