    • 11 Apr 2014... listing her place of birth as Illinois on the 1910 census is very strange. It would have to mean that the Staroba family was in the US in the 1880s which comes as a complete surprise. Especially since her younger siblings were born in Pitin, CZ. Consensus is this is not possible as future census records list her as being born in CZ.

      She married a Anton Jakublik in 1904 in the Czech Republic.
      She came to the USA in around 1905. ( I don't know how, where she entered the US or what. Do you know how your great gran father came over?)
      Her husban Anton came over in 1907.
      They lived in Chicago.
      she had a son in 1909 Anton
      The husband died in March 1912.
      The son died in August 1912.
      She then married Josef Petru in May 1913
      She had Mildred ( my Mother) in October 1916
      and another child, a son, Jerry in June 1918
      Regina passed away in October 1953 and Josef passed away in July 1964
