A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church, Calmar, AB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one's charity of choice. WASIECZKO, Sergius Cyril April 4, 1951 - August 19, 2016 Serg passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Brenda Wasieczko – their 40th anniversary was on July 3 of this year; son Tyler Wasieczko, wife Crystal, grandchildren Hunter, Parker, Fischer; daughter Christine Wasieczko; brothers Leslie (Connie) Wasieczko, John (Arlene) Wasieczko; and sister Natalie Unger. Serg was predeceased by parents Fred and Bessie Wasieczko and sisters Eugenia Wasieczko, Virginia Sych, and Marie Kotyk. A Celebration of Life for Serg will be held at the Calmar Legion, 4815 – 47 Street, Calmar, AB on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Serg to the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute, 11220 – 83 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB T6G 2B7.
