On December 30, 2013, Marveline Wesley passed away at the age of 98 years of age, surrounded by her family.
She will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her children, Gene Wesley of Campbell River, B.C. and Betty (Henri) Dubuc of Vegreville, AB; her grandchildren, Gene (Lisa) Wesley, Kevin Wesley, Brenda Wesley, Jody (Scott) Sugden, Michael Dubuc, Aline (Brant) Koroluk, Lana (Jamie) Henry, Martin (Stacey) Dubuc; her great- grandchildren, Jaden, Marissa and Zakariah Wesley, Aaron Wesley, Olivia and Mark Anthony Wesley, Brad and Jayden Sugden, Colten, Chase and Calen Dubuc, Cole and Brett Koroluk, Brody, Noah and Emily Henry, Harley and Reegan Dubuc and sister-in-law Stella Wesley.
Marveline was predeceased by her husband Joseph in October 2004, son John ("Jack") in February 1969 and grandson Vincent in April 1998.
As per Marveline's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be Celebrated on Friday, January 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martin of Tours Parish, 5437 - 43 Street, Vegreville. A private inurnment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to "The Homestead Lodge" in Vegreville, AB. Special thanks to Dr. John Slanina and the nursing staff at Lamont Health Care Centre for their kindness and exceptional care.

WESLEY, Joseph Vincent Joseph Vincent Wesley of Vegreville, Alberta passed away on October 1, 2004 at the age of 89 years after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He leaves to mourn his wife and best friend of almost 69 years, Marvcline; one son, Gene J. (Barbara) Wesley and their children, Gene M., Kevin and Brenda Wesley; one daughter, Betty (Henri) Dubuc and their children, Jody (Scott) Sugden, Michael (special friend, Sheryl Williams), Aline (Brant) Koroluk, Lana (Jamie) Henry, Martin (special friend, Stacey Goodman); 13 great-grandchildren, Aaron, Olivia and Mark Anthony Wesley, Bradley and Jayden Sugden, Colten, Chase and Calen Dubuc, Cole and Brett Koroluk, Brody, Noah and Emily Henry. He also leaves behind his sister, Dorothy McNeill; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his son, Jack; grandson, Vincent Wesley; sister, Beatrice Merta; brothers, Charles and James; and his parents, Joseph and Mary. Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church, Vegreville with Reverend Isagani Avinante as the Celebrant. Inurnment to follow in Riverside Cemetery with all of Joseph's friends as Honorary Pallbearers. If so desired, memorial donations are gratefully appreciated to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, the Homestead Senior Citizens' Lodge or towards St. Martin's Building Fund.
