Family Art
St. John Nepomucene
This painting is hanging in the Prague Catholic Church in Viking, AB. Somewhere in my papers I have the story of this painting and will add it once I find it.
-
Notes - After over thirty years of travelling and storage in numerous places, a painting of Saint John Nepomucene was returned to the Prague Alberta Church. My Grandfather painted this picture for the church around 1910 -1915. It was later taken down removed from its frame and made its way to British Columbia before being returned to where my Grandfather intended it. I am at present compiling a brief history of its travels.
This information was provided by Donald ROSE in an email dated 13 Oct 2000.
