On Thursday, September 29, 1994 at 73 years of age, Helen died peacefully in her sleep with friends and family at her bedside. She is predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth and Arthur Crawford; her brother, Floyd of Drayton Valley; and her sister, Ivadell (Rainer) of Arcata, California. Left to celebrate her life and to treasure her memory are her husband of 34 years, Edward Kapica; her sister, Hazel (Lee) of Rimbey; nieces and nephews and their children, and many dear and close friends. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 1994 at 1:00 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Chapel, 16204 Ford Road, Edmonton with Reverend Cyril Cutting officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
