Mr. John Danchuk of Redwater passed away peacefully February 14, 1999 at the age of 87 years.
John was predeceased by his wife, Mary Danchuk on February 14, 1992, and also his step-daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Jack Johnson. He will be sadly missed by his special friend, Rose and his step-children, Dr. Russell (Jean) Tkachuk of Roberts Creek, B.C., Vera (Don) Sproule of Calgary, Victoria (Ed) Twanow of DeWinton, and Janet (Elton) Malmo of Carstairs. He will also be sadly missed by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He also leaves to mourn him, three brothers and six sisters, Max (Olga), Earl (Leona), Joe (Doris), Mary Danchuk, Jean (John) Lesiuk, Olga Tannas, Saddie (Bill) Vasileff, Francis (Vic) Roth and Phyllis (Gordon) Oscroft.

On April 18, 2001, Mary Danchuk of Edmonton passed away at the age of 88 years.
She is survived by three brothers, Joe (Doris), Earl (Leona) and Max (Olga), all of Edmonton; five sisters, Jean (John) Lesiuk of Vernon, B.C., Olga Tannas of Vegreville, Sadie (Bill) Vasliff of Vernon, B.C., Francis (Vic) Roth of Edmonton, Phyllis Oscoft of Edmonton; special nieces, Leah (Malcolm) Smith, Carmen (Lawrence) Messer, Cori (Nevin) Hiebert, Heather (Augusto) Goncalves and Terry (Harvey) Diduch, all of Edmonton; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Predeceased by one brother, John of Redwater.

With a slight glint in her eye, a long last sigh, the life on earth of Olga Tannas came to sweet end. At Lethbridge Regional Hospital, during the early morning of March 15, 2008, with her son, Rick and his wife, Millie, at her bedside, Olga succumbed to a failing body and passed into the arms of her so loved Saviour.
Olga is survived by sons, Melvin of Niagara Falls, Ontario, and Rick (Millie) of Lethbridge; daughters, Donna (Rudy) Ferguson of Osoyoos, B.C., and Junie (Murray) Grant of St. Mary's, Ontario, eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; brother, Max (Olga) Danchuk of Edmonon; sister, Sadie Vasliff of Edmonton; extended family. Robert (Carole) Tannas of Athabasca, Fedora (Bill) Marling of Edmonton, Ellen (Glen) Nesser of St. Albert, Margaret (Barry) Jewell of Caldeon, Ontario, Donald (Dawn-Marie) Tannas of Bellis; Linda Tannas of Edmonton, and Evelyn (Wally) Zukowski of Edmonton; along with 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents, Emil (Katharyna) Danchuk; her first husband, Metro Sewchuk; her second husband, Fred Tannas; brothers, John, Joe and Earl Danchuk; sisters, Mary Danchuk, Jean Lesiuk, Francis Roth, and Phyliss Oshcroft [sic]; and granddaughter Tonya Beck.

On April 18, 2017 Sadie passed away peacefully at the ripe old age of 94 just one month shy of her 95 birthday. She is the last to survive of her nine siblings, four brothers, Earl, Max, John, and Joe; and her five sisters, Olga, Mary, Phyllis, Frances, and Jean.
Born in Bellis, Alberta and homesteaded with family until they moved just outside of Edmonton to a farm in Winterburn. It was there that she met the love of her life, William (Bill) Vasileff. They were married for over 60 years. Bill passed away in 2002.
Sadie suffered a stroke in 2007 and remained in the care of the Westview Health Center in Stony Plain. She leaves behind a loving family of three children, seven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
A service will be held at the Parkland Funeral Home in Stony Plain, 3502 - 44 Ave, 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 24, 2017.
In her memory a love offering towards the WECA Chapel in West Edmonton Mall at WECA.com would be appreciated.

He will be lovingly remembered by his family Johannes (Levy) Wohlwend, three grandchildren, Jonesa (Farzan) Nathoo of Calgary, Angela (Kyle) Tait of Lethbridge, Philip Wohlwend of Calgary; great grandsons Cole & Aiden Tait of Lethbridge and Avery Nathoo of Calgary.
